After years in the industry, we saw it first-hand: decent hi-vis gear costing twice what it should, and end users stuck wearing boxy, uncomfortable kit that didn’t last more than a few months.

So we did what any frustrated distributor with a little grit and a lot of coffee would do…

We made our own.

The Story So Far...

Hi, I’m Jake — I started out working for a major PPE manufacturer, then set up my own distribution company (OAKEYS Safety) supplying branded workwear to hundreds of UK businesses.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve spent thousands of hours speaking to site managers, health & safety leads, and frontline teams about what workwear should actually be — tough, breathable, rail-compliant, comfortable, and not ridiculously overpriced.

OAKLINE was born from that frustration — and that insight.
